Two page special on Halo 2 in... 2002. Right in between these two pages? A Superman poster, great. On page 2, this magazine says: "Halo 2 is a lot like Halo 1, only it's Halo 1 on fire, going 130 miles per hour through a hospital zone, being chased by helicopters and ninjas and the ninjas are all on fire, too." (Thinks about Halo 2 for a second) Well, they said that in regards to the graphics engine, but in a way that could also be said about the storyline as well, compared to Halo 1. I don't want to say Halo 1 is simple, but surely Halo 2 is far more complicated. "Halo 2 ships next year" (which would be 2003) Right... right. A classic Halo thing to say, right? Even Infinite was saying the same thing in 2020. Interesting things to read here: The interviewers ask a Halo producer if 343 Guilty Spark will return in Halo 2, producer said "No comment." They ask about any playable characters other than Master Chief, they receive a "No comment"!! The magazine writers say that they heard rumors you could select Covenant characters in Halo 2 multiplayer... just rumors, they say! I love looking back on this kind of stuff! Just rumors! Now we've gone more than a decade currently with no playable elites... but I won't digress. The question about another playable character than the main character is my favorite, such a funny thing to look back on in my opinion. Much of this magazine talks about the beautiful graphics, and mentions of XBOX Live.
