Here we go; Halo straight out of the late 90s! This is a one page special, so I must maintain caution when flipping through this magazine for I might just flip right past it. During this era, Halo was a, as the magazine claims, a "tech demo" more than a game, and it was at this point that Halo was a PC exclusive yet to be claimed by Microsoft (that would happen in 2000). Look at those graphics seen in the pictures! And the look of a 90's Chief and the Elites, it sure is something to appreciate. The low quality banshee too. There is not much said here about Halo, just more of an extremely brief check up on the game's progess. This magazine does make mention of the XBOX, a "games-only 'set-top box'" in development in Redmond, WA. Release? Set for fall of 2000.
